Happy Birthday to my baby girl, Ruby! What a year for her to grow up in, am I right!? She brought laughter and joy into our lives during the year we needed it most. I am grateful she chose me to be her mother!
I decided to throw her a Bunny themed party to go along with her Nursery design. I am in love with how it turned out and I can’t wait to show you all the fun details!
Getting my wiggle worm dressed for her party. I just love this floral blouse, its feminine and cute!
For her main table decor I wanted to incorporate blush, pink and gold colors.
We used pink pampas grass, gold fans, and rose gold serving ware.
The moss and floral water color on her cookies is my favorite part!
I attempted to make a cotton candy punch to serve to my guests… But cotton candy is very difficult to work with! My goal was to have large fluff balls of cotton candy on the drink… well it dissolved too fast!
The drink tasted yummy though!
Ingredients:
Raspberry Lemonade
7up
Pineapple Juice
Her cake was made out of fondant. You are able to find Vegan fondant from the brand Wilton.
The inside of her cake was lemon with a coconut filling!
To off set the sweetness of cake, cookies and punch, I served individual hummus + veggie cups.
Chile Lime hummus
Skewer of cherry tomatoes
Slices of bell peppers, cucumbers and radishes
Garnished with parsley
I asked each of the guests to fill out a special card that has a memory, thought or hope and wish for Ruby to open on her 18th Birthday!
We rented a giant #1 light from Alpha Lit Salt Lake City
Blown out of Proportions made her 5ft custom garland and giant standing balloon.
It was the perfect backdrop for her cake smash and to open presents.
I included a stat chart of where she is currently! Its amazing how fast time flew and that she is already walking!
One of Sean & I’s gift to Ruby was her own personal ball pit! I love the clear and pearl balls it came with.
Throughout the past 12 months I captured her mostly milestones along with whatever fruit was in season. Around 8 months it started getting more difficult to take her photo because she was so interested in eating the fruit or rolling around. I love looking back and seeing how much she has changed each month.
I believe 4 months was one of my favorite stages.
We sure loving having this little gem in our lives! Happy 1st Birthday Ruby!
